Home Remedy For Bacterial Infection Are There Any Medically/scientifically Sound "home Remedies" For A Bacterial Eye Infection?

Are there any medically/scientifically sound "home remedies" for a bacterial eye infection? - home remedy for bacterial infection

I was prescribed an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory steroid eye drops for my eye infection (redness, itching, mucus production). But I'm curious to see if there a way to say, perhaps, a sterile water or an alcohol solution or disadvantages of each drop, are used for the treatment of inflammation or infection can. I've always prescribed drops, of course, but it would be interesting to know whether there is a way (or any other theory) of the forms to help the eyes in an emergency, if you can not get to be a pharmacy or hospital long.

Rinse the eyes in a solution of water and boric acid. It is an old time remedy that works ..

Not if you have a bacterial infection of the eyes, ask your doctor as soon as possible.
